Jo Ann Sieve
I started Sieve Accounting and Tax LLC in 1986. I earned my BBA in Accounting from James Madison University. Upon graduation, I worked for Washington Gas Light as a staff accountant and later as an Internal Auditor. I earned my MBA in Finance from Marymount University. I am an Enrolled Agent, which is a federally licensed tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation. An Enrolled Agent is empowered by the Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the IRS for audits, collections and appeals. I also provide accounting services to non-profits and small businesses.
I am a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents, the VA. Society of Enrolled Agents, the National Society of Tax Preparers, and the National Society of Accountants. In addition, I am President of Meals on Wheels of Eastern Fairfax and am involved in other community organizations.
I work hard to provide personalized service to individuals and businesses. House calls are not a thing of the past to me and my clients. I will work hard to provide services for my clients in the way that is most convenient to the client. I am easily accessible by phone or email and strive to return calls and emails within 24 hours of them being received.
Kathryn Sieve
Ms. Sieve been a DoD civilian employee for over 12 years. She currently works for the Under Secretary of Defense, Comptroller in the Enterprise Financial Transformation Directorate. Furthermore, Ms. Sieve has also worked in programming and budgeting for the Army’s Equipping programs for G-8, Force Development and Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FM&C)), Army Budget Office, and as a Staff Accountant for Financial Reporting.
Ms. Sieve graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Mason University with undergraduate degrees in Economics and Finance. She also graduated top over her class in her Masters’ in Accountancy program from George Washington University. Ms. Sieve is a Certified Public Accountant and has supported Sieve Tax and Accounting part-time for 5 years.
